Hi.. newbie here - love your little drawings! What was the building in Austin? It looks grand. what a great way to document air trips. And how special to see a rainbow on the horizon while flying! 🌈
Ah.. that explains why it's grand! Assuming Capitol (weirdly spelt with an o not an a?) means House of Parliament, right? As an Aussie, I remember watching in disbelief at the storming of the Washington Capitol not that long ago… 😬
Congrats on the new job! I was wondering what happened after that final interview and am happy for you. Thank you for sharing this daily drawing process with us. It is inspiring.
Hi Chris. I really like the projects you do. I am obsessed with pop up projects and series based works and the like. I am constantly doing them myself. Enjoyed the airline diaries concept as well.
I love this concept of drawing and writing on your calendar pages. Welcome to L.A. - my hometown. It's just one big sprawl - find your tribe and then extend the circle from there. A lot of good people out here - you'll find them, I've no doubt. Thanks for sharing this project with us.
Flying fragments: how lovely!
Great idea you had ! Fun to use something found at a thrift store that brings us joy and keeps our memories.
what a wonderful idea and a perfect time capsule! thanks for sharing
Drawing for the 25th is my favourite yet 😆
love these so much
Thanks Ali!

That's the capital building!

Your work was featured by Gretchen Rubin in her newsletter last week. That’s how I found you!

Thanks Kimberly!
I love the self-referential entry for April 25! I only wish you could see a little tiny version of the whole drawing on the "25" page on the desk.
The week I was drawing there is week 13, here's the link to the drawings: https://substack.com/@schwaar/p-163065250
I am going to be very sad when this ends.
Thanks, David
Love it
Excellent drawings and wonderful creativity. I love to draw as well, especially on airplanes.

I think you are on to something.

Thank you! Three and a half years in now, it took a while for it to feel like home. But I'm happy to say it does now.
